More information:

Asthma can be supported holistically by combining strong breathwork, targeted movement, deep relaxation, and mindful nutrition. Pranayama techniques help strengthen the lungs, improve oxygen flow, and retrain the breath, while yoga asana corrects posture, opens the chest, and supports better respiratory function. Chest-opening poses and spinal alignment make it easier to breathe fully and freely, reducing the strain on the respiratory system. To ease stress-related triggers, practices like Yoga Nidra, Yin Yoga, and Reiki promote deep relaxation and help regulate the nervous system, which plays a key role in managing asthma symptoms.

Nutrition is also essential—removing mucus-forming foods such as dairy, bananas, rice, and cooked beetroot can help reduce congestion and inflammation in the lungs. Adding raw honey to the diet can offer powerful benefits: it soothes irritated airways, acts as a natural anti-inflammatory, and has antibacterial properties that support immune health. Together, these practices create a natural, empowering approach to managing asthma and improving long-term respiratory health.

Reiki Healing:

Reiki is an energetic healing technique rediscovered by Dr Mikao Usui in Japan in the 1890s. The art of “laying on hands” can be used to heal psychological and physical illness, as life source energy (ki) passes through the palms of the practitioner's hands. Amazingly Reiki can also be done hands-off (auric field) as the energy usually goes to where it is needed, it can be done without touching the client/patient and can even be sent via distance by using ancient symbols mantras.

Yoga:

I offer a fully integrated practice in my classes. I’m qualified in Vedic and Tantric Transcendental Wisdom, Sattva Yoga, Kriya, Naad, Himalayan Kundalini, Laya & Chi movements, Hatha Vinyasa, Meditation, Yin, Nidra and Usui Reiki Ryoho. Classes can be tailored for different needs, such as studio classes, private one-on-one sessions, office workspaces, weekend retreats, partner work, etc. The possibilities are endless.

“After spending years using parties, festivals, clubs etc, for escapism, meditation hit me like a ton of bricks, It was unavoidable from then on. Once I had what I believe was a “Kundalini experience”, I was able to relieve myself and others of mental & physical pain. So I decided to study Reiki and soon discovered I had a natural gift for it….”
