From Awakening to Mastery: My Journey Into Yoga & Healing

Hi, I’m Joel. For years I lived for festivals, parties, and escapism. But during a powerful psychedelic experience, I had what I now believe was a Kundalini awakening — and it changed everything. Meditation became unavoidable from that moment on, and I began experiencing spontaneous energy healing hand movements and was able to heal myself and others.

What began as an awakening through intuition has since grown into a path of structured study, discipline, and service. Today, after 700+ hours of yoga teacher training and becoming a certified Reiki Master, I guide others in blending restorative practices with powerful yoga for the body, mind, and breath.

The Awakening

In 2020, during that awakening experience, my hands moved into prayer on their own and began passing through my chakras. Soon after, I realised I could relieve pain and stress — both in myself and in friends.

Through meditation and breath work, I:

• Halved my asthma inhaler dosage

• Went for several days without needing medication

• Relieved chronic hay fever

• Supported friends through physical and emotional pain

These moments showed me that healing and transformation are possible far beyond what I thought before.

The Study

But intuition wasn’t enough. I knew I needed structure, study, and discipline to share these practices safely and effectively.

I dedicated myself fully to learning:

• 📚 Over 700 hours of yoga teacher training across vinyasa, kundalini, yin, meditation, and more

• ✋ Reiki Master certification, building on the spontaneous healing that first came to me

• 🧠 Countless hours study of human anatomy, nutrition, and holistic health to understand the body on a scientific level as well as an energetic one

The deeper I trained, the clearer my mission became: to empower others to strengthen their lungs, master their minds, and unlock the energy within.

The Mission
